Veterinary B-ultrasound equipment is frequently used and often moved. When many people use veterinary B-ultrasound equipment, they don’t know how to maintain it, which leads to machine failure. So what problems should be paid attention to when using veterinary B-ultrasound equipment?
First, check the veterinary B-ultrasound instrument before operation:
(1) Before operation, it must be confirmed that all cables are connected in the correct position.
(2) The instrument is normal.
(3) If the instrument is close to generators, X-ray devices, dental and physiotherapy equipment, radio stations or underground cables, etc., interference may appear on the image.
(4) If the power supply is shared with other equipment, abnormal images will appear.
(5) Do not place the instrument near hot or humid items, and place the instrument well to ensure safe operation.
Safety preparation before operation:
Check whether the probe is connected well, and confirm that no water, chemicals or other substances are splashed on the instrument. Pay attention to the main parts of the instrument during operation. If there is any strange sound or smell during operation, stop using it immediately until the authorized engineer solves it. After the problem can continue to use.
Precautions during operation:
(1) During operation, do not plug or unplug the probe while it is on. Protect the surface of the probe to prevent bumps. Apply coupling agent to the surface of the probe to ensure good contact between the tested animal and the probe.
(2) Closely watch the operation of the instrument. If the instrument fails, turn off the power immediately and unplug the power plug.
(3) The animals under inspection are prohibited from touching other electrical appliances during inspection.
(4) The ventilation hole of the instrument shall not be closed.
Notes after operation:
(1) Turn off the power switch.
(2) The power plug must be pulled out from the power socket.
